For this workshop we were asked to bring in still life items to photograph. I wanted to make me images differently to the others I have taken in previous workshops. I found a frame of a box that had a plastic sheet to go over the top of it and a stool. I decided that I would use these items to create a frame around my objects.
Firstly I took a few images of the objects together and the placed the plastic sheet in front of the frame. There were a few scratches on the plastic which I found intriguing as it gave a gritty look, it also reminded me of the images I took of the boy in a telephone box for the image making project.
I started using gels by placing them in front of the lens. As I am focusing on colour for this project I decided to experiment with various coloured gels.
Overall, I really like the outcome of the photographs and I will be using gels to apply colour to my photographs for my final images.
